The restaurant left much to be desired. I found the sauces on my starter and pasta dishes to be very thin and lacking in flavor. My partner's hot Thai curry was bland, and the naan bread served with it was cold. The lack of food service on Mondays and Tuesdays was not disclosed in advance, forcing us to search for nearby alternatives after a long drive. The bed itself felt a bit uncomfortable, and the room, while spacious, showed signs of wear and tear.

The cleanliness was unacceptable. We found cobwebs and spiders in the hallway and even in our room. The shower screen leaked relentlessly, causing a mess, and despite reporting it, nothing was done to rectify the issue.

I was nearly impressed when I entered my room, but then I noticed the shower screen leaking—absoluteley unacceptable! The hallway was dark and filled with spiders, which just added to the ambiance of disappointment. I expected a complimentary upgrade for suffering these inconveniences, yet was treated like everyone else. I just couldn’t overlook these oversights.

We had an awesome time enjoying the spacious double room and the fantastic, freshly cooked meals. There are lovely garden spots for chilling out and the kids loved the play area. The only downside was the bathroom could have used a little sprucing up, but it didn’t ruin our stay one bit. 😊
